The Tusk Conservation Awards celebrate Africa’s leading conservationists, recognising individuals whose work protects wildlife and ecosystems across the continent. In 2020, Ian Stevenson, CEO of Conservation Lower Zambezi, was nominated as one of three continental finalists. With international travel restricted due to Covid-19, Tusk Trust and its UK production partner needed a local team that could deliver world-class footage without compromise. Inspired Africa was commissioned to bring the story to life on the ground. Working from a UK-developed script, we translated narrative into visuals, capturing Ian’s work and the scale, beauty and vulnerability of the Lower Zambezi National Park. The result was a film that met international broadcast standards while remaining deeply rooted in place. A local, proudly Zambian story, told with global relevance.
